09/28/2001: "Auto Realization"

Last week I made an important realization. Every time I wash my car, and I mean EVERY time (at least the last couple months), something goes wrong with it. I don't know what it is, but it's true. The first time I washed my car I broke down in Pleasanton, that damn crappy differential. The second time I washed my car, it started to overheat, so I replaced the waterpump. The third time I washed my car, I needed a whole valve job. $1300 later, I washed my car for the fourth time and now this, I need a new oil pump. This luck of mine sucks! I'm never going to wash my car again, at least until I get a new paint job.
